Avoid using waterproof mascara and any heavy moisturizers 24-48 hours before your appointment. It can leave a film on your lashes which prevents the extensions from adhering correctly. Arrive to your appointment with dry, clean lashes and no makeup. The more time we have to spend cleaning your lashes, the less time you have for the application resulting in fewer lashes applied.
For your comfort and safety, it is best to remove contact lenses before your appointment.

While reactions can happen, they are very rare. If you have really sensitive eyes or are prone to allergies, we recommend a patch test prior to a full set. If you’ve had a set and start to notice extreme itching, swelling or redness. Please contact us right away to determine if you need to have your lashes removed.  

While we don’t recommend using mascara regularly with extensions, some find that when they are getting close to a fill it helps fill in the lash line. If you choose to use mascara do NOT use waterproof or tube mascara. They are very difficult to remove and can cause your lashes to pop off prematurely.    

YES, YES and YES. Contrary to popular belief water does not hurt your lashes. You do want to avoid prolonged submersion in water. If swimming, use goggles! 

When applied properly, they will not damage your natural eyelashes. Your natural lashes are always shedding and growing back, the extensions will simply fall off with yours. The extensions themselves do not cause your lashes to fall out or become damaged unless your technician is applying extensions that are too long or thick for your natural lashes.

Classic is a one to one ratio. Meaning we place one extension on to one natural lash. Classic lashes come in several different lengths, diameters and curls. They give a very “classic” lash look. Lengthening and giving your natural lashes curl. Depending on your natural lash and style your looking for you can create a soft look or very dramatic. Good for all lash types.

Volume is the creation of a light weight fan consisting of 2-6 lashes and then placed on one natural lash. Typically using .06 or smaller diameter when creating volume fans. This creates a full, fluffy lash line. Volume is perfect for all clients, especially those with a sparse amount of natural lashes. It can be as soft or dramatic as you want.

Glossary

Diameter: This is how thick the extension is. The smaller the number the thinner the lash.
Curl: The shape of the lash. Our extensions come in C, CC, D curls.     
Length: The length of the lash. Its measured in millimeters. We carry 7-13mm in length

Keep your skin exfoliated and hydrated is a good start. Applying tea tree oil daily mixed with witch hazel or a carrier oil really help the healing process (if your skin can handle tea tree oil straight, you can apply it directly to the inflamed follicle for best results) For deep stubborn ingrown warm compresses and hot Epson salt baths can help.

Sugaring is a form of hair removal using sugar paste. Sugar paste is made from sugar water and citric acid then boiled to the desired consistency. It is applied by hand and unlike traditional waxing the hair is pulled in the direction of hair growth reducing inflammation and ingrown hairs. Great for those with sensitive skin or tend to have problems with ingrown hairs. Plus there is less waste and no unwanted ingredients.

A lash lift is a quick and easy procedure that curls, lifts and shapes natural lashes. Make sure to:
Wear loose fitting clothes
Slip on shoes

Leave tanner on for at least 6 hours but best results are achieved after 8 hours. You may sleep with the tanner on, just make sure to wear loose fitting clothes. Then shower to remove tanner. Don't worry if it looks like your tan is running off, this is due to the bronzer in the tanner. Your tan will continue to develop over the next 24 hours.
